Our MISSION

Logan Architects Atelier strives to practice with a firm adherence to a code of artistic values that foster innovation to support economic development; and advances the cultural and social interests of the region, the nation and the world, while and respecting significant cultural and natural resources. To deliver reliable, imaginative and aesthetically inspiring design and Historic Preservation services to our clients that forwards their goals and protects the health, safety, welfare and property of the communities they serve. We strive to discover, disseminate, preserve and apply with integrity architectural, design and technological knowledge that positively impacts the preservation community, and the art and science of the architectural profession.

“Chief Executive Officer (CEO) (President)”
Angelo has been involved with the AEC industry for approximately forty-five years; the architectural profession for over forty years; and has focus on historic preservation for over twenty-five years.
As a Project Architect he has been responsible for preparing and coordinating construction documents; writing and coordinating specifications, general project management, managing CAD design and production for mid-size projects, producing marketing and presentation graphics, construction administration, and computer systems management.
As a Historic Architect with the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office (MoSHPO) he has been responsible for reviewing Federal and State historic tax credit applications to insure compliance with the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation, providing architectural and preservation technical assistance to the public concerning historic rehabilitations; scored Historic Preservation grant applications, monitored Historic Preservation grants awarded by the MoSHPO, and reviewed buildings eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NR) for compliance with Federal Section 106 Regulations.
He has gained recognition throughout the state of Missouri in the area of Historic Preservation. He has been a guest speaker at several statewide preservation conferences and workshops, and has delivered presentations at the National Park Service Federal Tax Incentives Workshop for state reviewers in Washington, DC.
He has been certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Before coming to the SHPO Angelo worked with architectural firms of various sizes. And participated in projects ranging from small multi-family and mixed-use developments to large scale corporate facilities for industry leaders such as Exxon, MCI and IBM.
