In design our role is to understand the present and envision the potential for the future (medium/long-term). Because we are deeply rooted in the design process, we strive to understand context before we begin studying solutions. Community involvement is a very important part of process of envisioning and preparing for future change to land use plans and policies over a large geography (neighborhood, city, region).
Historic Preservation
an endeavor that seeks to preserve, conserve and protect the built environment, including, buildings, objects, landscapes or other artifacts of historical significance. It enhances our sense of community and brings us closer together
